Hijos de Segismundo Andrés, S.A., an Ureta Maderas Group firm, is a family-owned company located in Burgos, Spain, specialized in European oak trade proceeding from its sawmill in Poland. The company started its activity in 1955 as a pine and beechwood sawmill in Quintanar de la Sierra, a Burgos province village. Since 1998, it has focused its activity on the import, storage and distribution of European oak in all of its forms and measures.

Our company belongs to a timber merchant group with a long business experience, founded the year 1875, in which the success of our company became notable, as a result of the high quality of its timber, respect for the environment and the constant improvement of our services.

Due to the great efforts made in investments in technology and human resources, our company has achieved a leading position in the national and international competitive market. Also, our continual advances have allowed us to be present in markets such as France, Portugal, China, Malaysia, Italy and Germany.

In our Burgos, Spain facilities, with a surface area measuring over 25,000 m2, we have a constant stock of all our products with which to supply our customers. Our drying sheds, with a 1000 m3 capacity, guarantee the final quality of the product.
